Mission and Vision Statement
Youth Advocate Program
My internship does not have a mission and vision statement however if I had to put into my own words it is very clear, what they would be.
My Mission statement for YAP.
The mission of YAP. inc. is to meet the needs of each individual to the best of our abilities in order for our kids to succeed in an appropriate and healthy manner.
My Vision statement
The vision of YAP. is to help our youth make connections within the community that will last a life time to ensure the success within the young person and for them to learn how to be completely independent once out of the system.
I believe that the mission and vision statements that I created really explains what the organization does. YAP is a wrap around service among DCYF. The mission is what we do everyday as well as the vision however the vision is more of a long term goal. We take the youths strengths and build upon them to create a relationship that is so strong between the child and advocate.
