Imagine you’re at internship/ work and a young person comes up to you and says, “I’ve been hearing about Black Lives Matter, but I’m not really sure what it is. Can you explain it to me?” Explain the movement using words that a young person would understand. What questions do YOU have about BLM? Post at least two

If a young person asked me what Black Lives Matter is I would start by explaining how people of color are not always treated as equal as others. Then I would talk about how since they are not always treated equal, it can result in violence against the black community. Black Lives Matter is an organization to help prevent hate towards black people and to give a platform for their voices and power. They are excepting of all genders, identities, disabled, people with records, etc.

Some questions that I have about BLM are:

1. What will the world look like in order for the organization to feel like BLM has made a difference?

2. Does the organization feel like their could be more support given to BLM in order to see more of a change?
